Val d'Isère is a genuine old village with an outstandingly high quality ski area with more than 80 years of history since the first pioneers. These visionaries turned a little community tucked away at the end of a long and remote valley at 1850m into a world class international tourist destination comprising a might 300km of pistes from the end of November until early May, along with endless off-piste and ski touring opportunities.
Summer… that’s the time for freshly-baked blueberry tarts, relaxing nature walks and fun-filled festivals. Grab a bike and tackle the iconic climb up the Col de l’Iseran or explore some of the 160km of rugged trails in the Bike Park.
