Take the path to the right of the car park. After a short climb, the path levels out and leads to the Plan du Lac refuge (overnight accommodation and meals). Walk along the Plan du Lac fishing lake. Take the downhill path towards St Barthélémy Chapel, then continue downhill as the path becomes steeper and takes you to the Rocheure stream and on to the chalets of Ile. The path progresses in short zigzags up to the balcony trail which you'll follow to the left to reach the Lozières lakes. Return via the same itinerary.
