Climbing in the rocks! This is a day they won't forget! The Roc des Tours is a small mountain that overlooks Chinaillon and that conceals a thousand routes: from the most known and easy to the most secret! You'll have to be young and enthusiastic to deftly thread your way across the limestone lapiaz, to do a little balancing act to step over the cracks. At the beginning it's almost flat but in a big fault of the cliff it will be necessary to climb steeply for some minutes. You have to be careful where you place your feet. Then it will be the discovery of the passage which leads to the crest from which the view is magnificent: the Mont-Blanc, the Aravis range, and on the other side the Lake Geneva and Switzerland! It's a real mountain hike that will be done with friends. But we have not said everything! While passing by these secret passages it is possible that we fall nose to nose with the inhabitants of the places... A Chamois, an ibex, a fox... And do not forget to raise the head to watch for the Bearded Vulture, the Golden Eagle or the Yellow-billed Duck...
For technical information, mountain guides are available at the Tourist Office from 6 to 7 pm in July and August.
