From the car park in the upper part of Tralenta hamlet, take the path which follows the right bank of the River Arc between birch trees and rocks to the hamlet of Ecot. Cross the hamlet, head back downhill towards the car park, cross the bridge over the Arc, then climb again on the track towards the Criou chalet. Go down the side of the chalet and take the Chemin des Alouettes on the right. This leads to the bridge on the Ecot road, below the village. Return variant: follow the track to the Criou chalet and go back down to the left, towards the chairlift booth, then take the Chemin des Oiseaux to enjoy a beautiful bird's-eye view of the village. Caution is required on the variant which includes a vertiginous section.
