Listening to the river, our house, in border of the Bollène way, which is the way to Santiago de compostela together, is nestled in a Monts du Forez hamlet, in 650 meters height, in 14 kms to Montbrison (capital of the Counts of Forez) ans 30 kms to Saint-Etienne (Loire Department).
Very close environment : f^rests, mushrooms, numerous excursions, ridings on korseback, fishing (under the romantic bridge, a nice river is running La MAre, the fishermen of trouts paradise).
Les Monts du Forez count magnificent very wooded landscapes. Medieval villages, charming priories and churches which wait for you and will enchant you, and, it is without speaking about the hikes offering luxurious points of view.
Montbrison, Champdieu, St-Bonnet-le-Château, Usson-en6forez, St-Anthème (Prabouré), Chalmazel (Pierre sur Haute), gorges of Loire... all these steeped in history sities, villages and settings deserve your visit.
