Le Châtaignier invites you to dine in a warm and friendly setting in the heart of Lamastre, near the Dolce Via and the famous Mastrou steam train. Come and taste authentic, gourmet and home-made dishes, in the colours of the Ardèche and its local products.
A traditional and tasty bistronomic cuisine, respecting the freshness of the products and the rhythm of the seasons, which will make you (re)discover the specialities of the Ardèche: typical dishes (crique, caillette, tomme in salad), local charcuterie and cheeses, but also sweet or savoury chestnuts, and many other gastronomic treasures...

This is the health protocol imposed by the government and "reinforced" for restaurants in France :
- Table for a maximum of 6 people (children included)
- Wearing a mask is obligatory, also obligatory even between courses.
- Payment at the table
To avoid having to go to the restaurant, customers are now invited to pay the bill from their table and not at the counter.

As we have been doing since the beginning of this health crisis, we will scrupulously respect these rules beyond our control.
