The trail starts at the top of the gondola lift. You can get there using the lift (attention, the gondola will not operate this summer 2022) or by car via the Route de la Repose. This steep path takes you to the Pointe de la Norma (2918 metres) and offers breathtaking views over the Vanoise and Ecrins mountains as well as Italy and the lower part of the Maurienne valley. Return via the same path.
