After the mountain hut, continue and cross the stream using the bridge, walk through the La Sassière village ruins, cross a second stream using a small footbridge, then take the small path up to the left to the plateau. Cross the stream and then take the steep slope to the Montséti pass. Take a left and head down to Lac Noir. At the end of the lake, take the path that begins the descent. At the fork, take the left path that leads down to the hamlet of La Motte (the Archeboc mountain hut). Follow the pasture trail until you reach Les Côtes, then take a path on the right towards Pierre Giret and La Savonne. After the large mountain stream at La Sassière (sometimes difficult to cross), rejoin the road that leads back down to La Savonne and the car park.
