Formed in the XIXth century according to the plans of renowned landscape architects from Lyon, the Luizet brothers, this garden is a combination of the traditional disciplined and symmetrical style of the French, and the more natural feeling, although man-made, landscape style of the English.
Today the Clos Jouvin is home to a number of interesting attractions including a library, the Chemistry Museum, a playground for your children, a swimming pool and a sports ground.
