Route:
From the Nordic ski chalet, take the large way in front of the restaurant. Leave the way to turn left on the path along the edge of the forest, around the peatbog.
Follow the south towards Arselle plateau, once on the grassland, you'll get a beautiful view on the Taillefer.
After a short walk upwards, a larger path brings you to the sign "La Lause". Ignore the path uphill to the Achard lake and take the way on your left that'll bring you back to the starting point (follow the sign "plateau de l'Arselle").
The wetland is a sensitive ecosystem; please stay on the main paths and don't follow the potential tracks across the peatbog.
⚠ Warning: the Arselle plateau is a protected area (peat bog classified as an APPB - Arrêtés Préfectoraux de Protection Biotope), so there are a few rules to respect to help protect it. Fire, wild camping, bivouac, picking and dumping of waste are strictly forbidden. Please stay on the path around it, it is forbidden to go on the plateau in order to preserve the fragile environment.
