Nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet will love this spot in the Drôme valley, near little village of Suze-sur-Crest, between Valence and Montélimar. Wonderful setting overlooking the Crest valley with its breathtaking scenery. Great for fishing plus walking, horse riding and cycling. Attractive village of Suze-sur-Crest has several churches, evidence of its turbulent history. Under 15 min. away: visit the Tour de Crest (52m), one of tallest castle keeps in Europe, spend a refreshing interlude on banks of river Drôme (swimming, jumping into 'gours' - local word for waterholes, sunbathing on the riverside beach).
House in open countryside at end of 900m track (suitable for vehicles), adjoining family holiday home only occasionally occupied. Holiday apartment accessed via flight of stone steps (12). Large living room with open-plan fitted kitchen, dining table, lounge area (160cm sofa bed). Bedroom (two 80cm wide beds OR queen-size bed). Shower room. Open barn ideal for relaxing and having breakfast/lunch in the shade.
