More than just a cycling event, this is above all a genuine human adventure : meetings, exchanges and the sharing of experiences between cyclists of all ages and from all backgrounds, all in this lovely setting that is the Val d’Arly, in Savoie. The departure point for this event is the village of La Giettaz, nestling at the bottom of the Col des Aravis and still a cyclist’s paradise due to its proximity to some of the Alps’ most renowned mountain passes. On the programme this year are some amazing climbs : col des Aravis, col de la Croix Fry, col du Marais, col de Forclaz, col des Saisies, col de Joux Plane, col de La Ramaz, col de l'Arpettaz, l'emblématique côte de Domancy... 2 levels of route : * Performance : Gears, pedal rate, various training techniques, back-up vehicle… 469 km and over 12340 m of uphill climb * Leisure* : Ride in a pack, feel comfortable in the descents, back-up vehicle, refreshments… 370 km and 9320m of uphill climb *open to battery-assisted bikes
