From the car park below the Chapel, follow the signs to La Buffart/Fort de Ronce. Avoid the traffic by taking the balcony path, which climbs barely but steadily. Return via the same itinerary or take another means of transport. You can reach the Plan des Fontainettes (Pyramid/Alpine Gardens) from Ronce Fort.
You can extend the walk to reach the Mont-Cenis dam in 3 hours.
