This winter Isabelle, a La Plagne local and owner of the family chalet, is offering a new concept. Lunch will become a limited edition experience with a seating capacity of just 25 people, in order to offer an address where the focus is on quality with a personal welcome, “just like at home”. After changing out of ski boots and putting on slippers made in France, guests are seated in one of the 4 dining rooms for individual groups, each with a themed decor (fabric tablecloths and napkins, china service, armchairs, special tableware and throws) or on an adjoining private terrace. Once seated at the table, the traditional cuisine made with local products is served according to best practices. Isabelle wants to create an “authentic” and rare restaurant experience, where guests are given every attention. There will be a single menu every day: starter, main course and dessert Reservation required via the website.
The restaurant has been awarded Table et Auberge de France's "table de terroir" label. Isabelle and her team have also committed to a responsible restaurant approach by setting up waste reduction and sorting systems, as well as short circuits using local and seasonal products. The restaurant is part of the Mountain Riders' Association.
An altitude restaurant situated about 500m from the top station of Lac Noir gondola and 100m from the bottom of the beginner drag lift. Accessible to skiers, non-skiers and cross-country skiers. Walking trails go towards La Plagne
In summer, Isabelle will be delighted to see you in this charming and authentic location. Situated at the starting point of a number of hiking trails going towards La Plagne and Mont Saint Jacques.
Luncheon on the grass A gourmet picnic presented in a wicker basket for a rustic lunch in the wooded setting of Plan Bois plateau.
Baskets for 2 or 4 people to be ordered from the restaurant before 4pm for the next day. They contain: - a salad (different every day) - a choice of: a quiche / a platter of cold meats or cold roast meat - "Le Parfait" dessert in a glass jar (e.g. tiramisu, vanilla cream …)
A bottle of wine can be ordered for a supplement (corkscrew supplied). Baskets are to be collected before 12 noon on the day of the picnic and must be returned the same day. Picnic basket: 12€/pers.
