La Bérarde is located in the commune of St Christophe en Oisans at 1720m. There is no better place to practice hiking, climbing and mountaineering. It is accessible via the departmental road 530, but in winter it can only be reached on foot or by ski touring as the road is closed from the hamlet of Champhorent
