- In summer: Departure point for many hiking itineraries: the GR5 and GR96 great hiking routes and the Buet, Anterne, Sales, Cirque du Fer à Cheval and Lac de Gers itineraries. 10 refuges within easy access. Climbing, mountaineering, via ferrata, potholing, rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning, canoraft, airboat, kayaking, paragliding, mountain-biking, eco-tourism, donkey-hiking, ski-lift excursions, fishing, horseriding, mini-golf, tennis, swimming pool, adventure trail, pony rides, cultural tours and heritage features, and the nature reserve.
- In winter: Alpine and Nordic skiing, ski school, snowboarding, snowshoeing trails, icefalls, skating rink, dog-sledding, kindergarten for 3-year-olds and up. The free bus shuttles go right past the buliding and take you to the "Grand Massif Express" gondola lift in 6 minutes. Return possible via the superb Cascades slope (a 14 km blue slope that links the resorts of Flaine and Sixt Fer à Cheval), in the heart of the Nature Reserve where you can admire the frozen lake and the icefalls.
