Description

Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse is mostly known for its nordic skiing area, although a few alpine pistes – some with quite a steep slope - are on offer. It is also a great place for ski-touring, snowshoeing enthusiasts have access to 5 marked circuits surrounding the village, and the resort also provides initiations to biathlon. On the cultural side, le Sappey is only a few kilometres away from the Grande Chartreuse museum and the Contemporary Sacred Art museum.
