FIRST OUTING: On your own or with your family, sitting comfortably on reindeer hides, with a professional musher as guide in a large touring sled pulled by 7 to 10 dogs. Activity accessible for children from 2 years old, not for pregnant women. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the top of Plagne Village, on the "Dou du Praz" plateau (2100m altitude) and on Mondays (subject to snow conditions) on the plateau at Longefoy, next to the resort of Montalbert (1200m altitude). Duration 30 mins.
LEARNING TO DRIVE THE TEAM: maybe you have never driven a team, but a simple outing seems a little too contemplative... If the energy and impatient snorting of the dogs doesn't frighten you, why don't you try driving the team yourself! For this activity, participants must be in good physical condition with no medical condition that prevents them doing sports activities in the mountains in the presence of dogs. Minimum age 11 years, not accessible to pregnant women. Activity proposed mainly on Thursdays outside of school holidays and as a safety measure on Saturdays during the school holidays at the Dou du Praz at the top of Plagne Village. Duration = 10 min briefing + 30 min of driving.
CANI RANDO: The dog is your ally as you climb up and makes coming back down even more fun! Children in particular, will love the possibility of spending a day with the dogs, finding out about the pack and learning the basics of canine education, highlighting the child-dog relationship. It is an unforgettable moment for families to share! Sporting activity - hiking on marked trails in the mountains, around 10 km of active walking. Accessible for families, not for pregnant women. Children are often paired up (e.g. = child/child- parent/child) with one dog. RDV at the kennels, 2 km above the resort of Plagne Montalbert. Duration = full day or half day.
CANI KART: Even in the summer you can enjoy the sensations of riding in a sleigh! Cani-kart is a sort of sled on wheels driven by a professional and drawn by a team of Greenland dogs on grassy paths in the mountains 2000 m above sea level. A recreational activity for children and adults that does not require any sporting ability, not for pregnant women. For the dogs' comfort, the activity takes place in the morning from 7am. The musher will let you know the day and starting time for the activity according to the weather conditions . RDV at the Dou du Praz at the top of Plagne Village. Duration: 1 hour including a presentation of the dogs and what they are used for, 30 min outing and drink stops.
