From the Maison d’Aussois, follow the Route des Barrages (dam road) and leave your car on the Carrière (quarry) car park. From the foot of the Plan d’Amont Dam, follow the pasture track along the reservoir. There is a beautiful view of the two lined-up dams and the Dent Parrachée, the highest peak in southern Vanoise.
