A must see:The "Pierre Fiche" menhir (Historic monument): In Simandre-sur-Suran, along the old Roman road, sits the only menhir in the department. It dates from 2500 BC (Bronze Age) and measures 3.80 m in height.La Chartreuse de Sélignac, founded in 1202: On the road to Corveissiat, sits this imposing building. Before leaving on a crusade, the Lord of Coligny donated the lands of Sélignac to the Order of Carthusians. Since 1211 and until 2001, monks lived in Sélignac.The three fords on the Suran (Middle Ages).The fruit farm in Comté in Simandre-sur-Suran.The Suran river, a hotspot for trout fishing.
